Camp Colonie: A Place for Memories

Camp Colonie is a six week long integrated summer camp program for children and young adults 5-21 years of age. Camp Colonie provides a supportive and supervised program for individuals with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities as well as typically developing children and young adults. Campers are invited to attend one or all six week long sessions!

Camp Colonie has two program options that work together to help campers reach their highest potential and individual goals

Full Day Camp 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Campers who enroll in the day camp option enjoy recreational and socialization activities in addition to academic support.

"School Without Walls" 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Individuals who attend Camp Colonie's School Without Walls program will receive a full-day accredited school program (CSE and district approval required).

Camp Colonies programs work hand in hand to provide a fully integrated environment where campers and students of all abilities learn and play together. Camp Colonie was the first fully integrated camp in the state of New York and provides a safe and fun environment where campers enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, nature appreciation, recreational and socialization activities and academics such as reading, writing, geography, and mathematics.

Camp Colonie is located in Colonie Town Park in Cohoes New York (Pavilion 2). Campers have full access to the park grounds including the playground, nature trails and athletic fields.
