Easterseals New York staff assists these individuals in developing independent living skills and supports them in achieving their personal goals in the community.

Easterseals NY (ESNY) provides a community based residential setting designed for individuals with developmental disabilities to feel like a person’s home. The goal of staff intervention in the IRAs is to build skills and help the individuals live as independently as possible.

Comprehensive Educational and Rehabilitative Services

Easterseals NY (ESNY) provides a residential setting designed for individuals with developmental disabilities to provide comprehensive and individualized health care, educational, and rehabilitation services which promotes their functional status and independence. The ICF provides active treatment, a continuous, aggressive, and consistent implementation of a program of specialized and generic training, treatment, and health and related services, directed towards helping the residents function with as much self-determination and independence as possible in their environments.
