2019 Long Island Golf Tournament
On Thursday September 26th Easterseals New York held its Annual Long Island Golf Tournament to benefit children and adults served by ESNY programs. The tournament took place at Indian Hills Country Club in Northport, New York.
Dedicated staff of Easterseals are taking extraordinary steps to continue to assist those we serve as the nation struggles to contain the coronavirus pandemic. In the face of increasing hardship and a dearth of resources and support, our people are stepping up.
Easterseals Child Development Centers provide much more than high quality education for pre-school children with special needs. They are deeply embedded into the fabric of our communities, and serve as a critical nexus for residents and local service providers. During the holiday season, the CDCs distribute meals, clothing and toys to families in need.
Project Discovery in Port Jeris, NY holds outreach events at our facility on a monthly basis for parents and families in and around the Port Jervis community. Families who attend the events can access donated food, clothing and houseware. Through a partnership with the Orange County Food Depository, we are proud to operate one of the only food pantries in Easterseals each month. Our daily meals and food pantry feed over 10,000 people each year.
On November 27th, guided by the belief that we are truly better together, Easterseals, Fedcap, Single Stop USA, Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services, ReServe and Wildcat will host our Power of Possible Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City. This combined Gala is one way to leverage the power of our growing family of brands, and to ensure that we maximize the impact of your investment in our work.
